Trinity College is a private, liberal arts college in Hartford, which is the capital city of the US state of Connecticut, having a population of more than 124 000 inhabitants, estimated during the 2006 census, fact which makes it the state's 3rd largest city, and the 6th largest in New England.
Trinity College was established in 1823, as Washington College, in downtown Hartford, its current name being adopted in 1845.
